TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. PLEASANT DAY OUT THERE ACROSS THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. LOTS OF UNSEASONABLE WARMTH. HUMIDITY VALUES HAVE STAYED LOW. WE’VE SEEN SOME CLOUDS MOVE BACK IN, BUT WE ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO STAY DRY ACROSS THE REGION. SO GORGEOUS. START TO THE EVENING OUT THERE. YOU CAN OPEN UP THE WINDOWS OR POSSIBLY HAVE DINNER OUTSIDE AS TEMPERATURES ARE STILL IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S WE’LL SEE TEMPERATURES CLIMB A COUPLE OF DEGREES FOR TOMORROW NIGHT INTO THURSDAY. WE’RE TALKING HIGHS UP NEAR 80 DEGREES, BUT THEN THE RAIN CHANCES DO RETURN AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE WEEKEND. WE DESPERATELY NEED THE RAIN. IT’S BENEFICIAL RAIN. IT’S JUST BAD TIMING AS IT IS GOING TO PUT A DAMPER ONTO SOME WEEKEND PLANS OUTSIDE. RIGHT NOW WE HAVE THAT VEIL OF MID AND HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS, BUT THAT’S NOT SLOWING DOWN THE WARMING PROCESS AS WE’RE GETTING CLOSER TO SUNSET, TOPPED OFF IN THE LOWER 70S THIS AFTERNOON. STILL 72 IF YOU’RE WATCHING US IN YORK WITH THE GENTLE BREEZE OUT OF THE WEST NORTHWEST, ALL IS DRY ON LIVE LOCAL EIGHT RADAR AND THE STORM TEAM LIVE RADAR NETWORK. YOU CAN SEE IT IS DRY ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH. IT’S GOING TO STAY THAT WAY FOR THIS EVENING. SO A GORGEOUS EVENING. TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S NEAR SUNSET. LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE DOWN CLOSE TO AVERAGE. WE’RE TALKING LOWS IN THE UPPER 40S TO LOWER 50S. THEN FOR TOMORROW A BIT MORE SUNSHINE AND A LITTLE BIT MORE WARMTH. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL TOP OFF IN THE MID 70S. MADE IT TO THE LOWER 70S AT THE AIRPORT. MADE IT TO 73 FOR OUR HIGH AFTER A MORNING LOW OF 51 DEGREES. CURRENTLY 74 AT THIS HOUR IN CARLISLE, 72 IN EVERETT IN LANCASTER COUNTY, 71 UP IN SELINSGROVE. TEMPERATURES A LITTLE BIT ON THE WARMER SIDE THAN AVERAGE. YOU CAN SEE STILL IN THE UPPER 60S RIGHT NOW TOWARDS PITTSBURGH, CLOSER TO 80 DEGREES OVER TOWARDS PHILADELPHIA AND NEW YORK CITY. WE HAVE A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WELL OFF DOWN TO OUR SOUTH OVER THE CAROLINAS AND SOUTHERN VIRGINIA. THAT’S WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO STAY. FOR US, IT’S A BIG RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE COMING IN FROM THE WEST THAT’S GOING TO CONTROL OUR WEATHER FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. SO IF YOU LIKE THE WEATHER THAT WE HAD TODAY, MORE OF IT’S TO COME FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY, YOUR THURSDAY, AND FOR MOST OF OUR FRIDAY. BUT THANKS TO THE WINDS STARTING TO CHANGE AND TURN OUT OF THE SOUTH, THAT WILL BRING IN A LITTLE BIT MORE WARMTH THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WHEN COMPARED TO TODAY. SO WE’RE STAYING DRY FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. IT’S LATER IN THE DAY. ON FRIDAY, THE SHOWER CHANCES GO UP AND THEN WE’RE TALKING ROUNDS OF RAIN FOR YOUR SATURDAY, POSSIBLY EVEN A FEW THUNDERSHOWERS. SO HERE’S A LOOK AT THE LONG RANGE PREDICTOR GOING ON TO THURSDAY EVENING. STILL DRY. MOST OF OUR FRIDAY IS DRY. IF YOU HAVE OUTDOOR PLANS OR TRYING TO DO OR GO TO A SPRINGTIME EVENT OR A SPORTING EVENT OUT THERE, IT IS GOING TO BE DRY UNTIL WE GET CLOSER TO SUNSET. WARM FRONT LIFTS OVERHEAD AND THEN BE PREPARED FOR SOME MORNING SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY SOME AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSHOWERS AHEAD OF AN INCOMING FRONT THAT MOVES THROUGH LATE IN THE DAY ON SATURDAY. THEN BEHIND THIS FRONT, WE’RE TALKING COOLER WEATHER, DRIER WEATHER TO END THE WEEKEND. STILL GOING TO BE PLEASANT THOUGH. TEMPERATURES WILL JUST BE KNOCKED BACK DOWN A FEW DEGREES COMPARED TO YOUR SATURDAY. SO DRY FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AFTER SUNSET, THE SHOWER AND THUNDERSHOWER CHANCES START TO RISE. ITS ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS FOR YOUR SATURDAY. DRIER WEATHER WILL BE AROUND FOR SUNDAY INTO MONDAY, AND THEN TEMPERATURES CLIMB BACK UP INTO THE 80S AS WE GO INTO NEXT WEEK, WITH MORE ACTIVE WEATHER STARTING NEXT WEDNESDAY AND LASTING ON INTO POSSIBLY THE
